Mild Gel-Based Hand Soap
Use a damp cloth to wipe the mat after each use.
If sweat or body lotion stains the mat, we recommend doing the following:
- Pump a small amount of mild gel-based hand soap (without tree tea oil, whitening properties) onto the damp cloth and “tap wipe” the stained area;
- Rinse off the soap on the damp cloth and dab & wipe the stained area once more.
- Air-dry the yoga mat.
NOTE:
- DO NOT USE WET CLOTHE TO CLEAN, ONLY DAMP CLOTHE.
- Please avoid using any soap, detergent, oil or cream directly on the mat, this may leave permanent mark.
D.I.Y. Cleaning Water - Baking Soda and Lemon
If you are in the mood for some deep-clean hack, try the following:
- Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice with 500ml of water;
- Dab & wipe the yoga mat with a damp cloth repeatedly.
- Air-dry the yoga mat.
NOTE:
- DO NOT USE WET CLOTHE TO CLEAN, ONLY DAMP CLOTHE.
- Please avoid using any soap, detergent, oil or cream on the mat, this may leave permanent mark.
Tips:
- Use a microfiber cloth for the best result.
- To speed up the drying process, use a hairdryer (Dyson is our preferred choice) on cool air mode to dry your mat.
Enjoy your yoga practice/training and continuing the spread of positive energy.
